Naxals evict tribals from their homes in Chhattisgarh

Poor tribals in Pidmel village of Chhattisgarh, who opposed the violent and obscurantist ideology of Naxals and instead embraced the developmental ideas of the government, are now facing the wrath of these ultra-left radicals. Two families were forced to leave their homes following a diktat issued by the self-proclaimed defenders of tribal rights. This wasn't the first incident when Naxals meted out atrocity on innocent civilians. Cowardly Naxals, who have been pushed back by the sustained security efforts of the government, have now resorted to attacking children in order to hold a control over the people of the region. Naxals are losing their stronghold at a rapid pace as the assertive and coordinated efforts of Indian security forces have yielded positive results.
