Navy greeted by 'Thanks' note on house's roof in Kochi

A 'Thanks' note was painted on the roof of a house in Kochi for the Indian Navy for their rescue efforts. The note was found where the Naval ALH piloted by Commander Vijay Varma had rescued two women from flood-hit area on August 17. Around 357 people have died in Kerala floods. Rescue operations by Indian Army, Navy, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and India Coast Guard are underway.
