Mumbaikars gather to buy veggies amid COVID-19 threat

Massive crowd was seen at a vegetable market in Mumbai on April 09 amid nationwide lockdown in the wake of coronavirus pandemic. Locals were seen buying essential commodities at a vegetable market in Mumbai's Byculla vegetable market. Mumbaikars were seen violating norms of social distancing while purchasing vegetables. There are total 1161 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra including 64 deaths and 79 cured. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 4714 in India and 149 deaths.
