Mallya accepts meeting with Jaitley in Parliament, says "didn't have any formal meeting"

Liquor baron Vijay Mallya on Wednesday clarified his remark on meeting Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Mallya said that he met the Finance Minister in the Parliament premises and told him that he was leaving for London. He also clarified that he didn't have any formal meetings scheduled with FM Jaitley. "Over a period of time, I have met many colleagues in Parliament and expressed to them my desire to settle with the banks. I don't believe I owe you any further details," said Mallya when asked 'did you meet any other BJP leader before you left for London?'. When asked if he was tipped off by someone to run, the liquor baron said, "I can confirm to you that nobody tipped me off. There was no need to run and the allegations are media created allegations."
