The actor-turned-politician Urmila Matondkar conducted road show in Mumbai on Friday. She will be contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Mumbai North Parliamentary constituency. While talking about the upcoming biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she said, "The film should not come out at the time of elections, I have said, releasing film during the time of elections is wrong. Their policies have failed terribly, if comedy show is made, it will work better for them. I have never made a personal attack on anyone. Different statements are being clubbed together, to make a controversy out of it. I have not made any personal comments on anyone in spite of hearing negative and insulting comments about me".
