Locals abandon submerged village as flood situation worsens in Bihar's Dharbhanga

Residents of Dhadhiya village have lost everything in recent flood in Bihar's Dharbhanga district. Entire village is forced to move to safe place with their belongings. Many people have lost their houses, cattles and other possessions. They are using temporary arrangements to keep their family and cattles safe. Floods in Bihar have, reportedly, killed more than 90 people and displaced 11.5 million people. The state government has said that the relief and rehabilitation program is in full swing. The monsoon brings heavy rains to South Asia between June and October, often triggering floods later in the season.
