Everyone knows how Hollywood biggie Leonardo DiCaprio is worried about the climate change and after his powerful UN speech on the same, the actor gained more respect from his fans. Now, in order to do his bit for the climate change, the Academy Award winner actor is now teaming up with Paramount to bring 90s' favourite carton series Captain Planet to the big screen. DiCaprio's Appian Way Productions Company is joining hands with Paramount to obtain the rights of the popular 1990s cartoon series. Captain Planet and the Planeteers was a TV show that aired from September 1990 to December 1992. It centered on five young people from around the world who were given magical rings that had the power to control natural elements. It feels amazing to see how Leonardo DiCaprio is taking his role of environmentalist activist so seriously.
