Kozhikode serial murder case: Police requests court for custody of accused

The crime branch of the Kerala Police requested to court to send the accused to police custody in Kozhikode serial murder case. While talking about recent developments on case, Kerala DGP Loknath Behera said, "If we have 6 cases, we will expand the team. We have also requested the court to send the accused to police custody. If need arises, we will send samples to foreign laboratories for analysis." The police investigation into a series of deaths in Kozhikode district's Koodathayi village has rocked Kerala and dominated headlines in the state in the past week. A 47-year-old woman, Jolly Amma Joseph, has been arrested by the police in connection with the death of her husband, and five other family members between 2002 and 2016.
