Kites soar past religious barriers in Jaipur

Examples of interfaith harmony, which is the essence of India's composite culture, can be found all across the country. One such example comes from Jaipur-the capital of the northwestern state of Rajasthan. Here Hindu and Muslim workers are engaged in making Kites. The Handi Pura area is a well-known kite market. It is as vivid as a rainbow and there are many colorful and designer kites on display. The colorful end product is a result of good relations between different communities.
