Kingfisher Airlines is likely to resume operations in four or five days after around 100 staff in Delhi agreed to return to work. The airline expects to pay salaries for March within a week. Meanwhile, Aviation Minister, Ajit Singh today said that the government needed concrete plans from Kingfisher airlines on how the airlines would maintain schedule of flights and ensure plane and passenger safety. He also added that the government will have a look at the winter schedules of the airlines. The government finally seems to be turning towards a decision on the fate of the heavily indebted carrier after allowing it to operate for months without paying salaries to its employees.
