Jharkhand governor pays tribute to Policemen killed in Dumka Maoist attack

Governor of Jharkhand Syed Ahmed on Wednesday paid tribute to the police personnel killed in a Maoist attack in Dumka district of the state. Maoist rebels attacked a police convoy in Dumka district on Tuesday, killing at least five policemen. Syed Ahmed paid floral tributes to late superintendent of police for the Pakur district Amarjit Balihar, who was killed along with four other police personnel in the attack.The bodies of the police personnel were brought back to the Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP) ground from Dumka this morning.
