In the Jansamwad programme organised in Khanpur of Jhalawar district in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje listened to the grievances of people and directed the officials to take necessary steps to solve them. During the programme CM also instructed the officers of the Electricity Department to dispose off pending agricultural connections of the area before the rain so that the farmers could get the benefit of it on time. Interacting with the people, the Chief Minister said Government has spent about Rs 16,923 crore on development work in Jhalawar district in the last four and a half years. Out of which Rs. 1504 crore rupees is spent on development of roads, Rs. 534 crore on drinking water, Rs. 2157 crore on irrigation projects and Rs. 4284 crore on electricity. During the Jansamvad programme, the beneficiaries of different schemes of the state government also expressed their gratitude towards the Chief Minister.
