Indian armed forces are now at par with armed forces of other countries: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Indian security forces are at par with forces of other countries. Addressing a public rally in Maharashtra's Satara, PM Modi said, "In the last 5 years, our government has brought our armed forces at par with the armed forces of other countries. Be it Army, Navy or Air Force, modern weapons are a part of our armed forces today." Taking jibe at the Opposition on failure in Lok Sabha election, PM Modi further added, "Congress-NCP leaders are unable to understand the mood of the people. They were punished in the Lok Sabha elections. This time the people will give them harsh punishment in the upcoming elections too, be it in Maharashtra or Haryana." Maharashtra Assembly Polls will be held in one phase on October 21, and the results will be declared on October 24.
