Imphal celebrates 'Where Have All The Flowers Gone?' festival

The 6th edition of 'Where Have All The Flowers Gone?' was celebrated at Imphal's Konsang Lampak, Phayeng. 'Where Have All The Flowers Gone?' is an annual festival of music and art on environment. This festival is one of its kind in the state as it is funded by the crowed. Apart from spreading environmental awareness among people, 'Where Have All The Flowers Gone?' Festival also focuses on bridging the gap between rural and urban life. It also provided platform to youths. Painting competition for children, bicycle rally, tree plantation, are also the major attractions of this festival apart from music performances and art by various performers. Amongst 10 bands, Indus Creed from Mumbai, Ambush from Assam, Ditty from Goa and Hanuba from Sylhet, Bangladesh among other local artists and musicians performed during the festival.
