Hypertension a big worry in India, says WHO

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has said that Hypertension is the reason behind 10 percent deaths in India and is also the cause for four major non-communicable diseases, which have high mortality rate. According to world health experts, five simple lifestyle changes can help people beat high blood pressure and save millions of lives every year. Keeping active, slashing salt intake, eating a healthy diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables, cutting down on alcohol and not smoking at all can help reduce the chances of developing the deadly condition.
