Moving away from communal bias, in a humanitarian act, a Sikh policeman saved a Muslim man in Uttarakhand's Ramnagar area from ruthless mob attack. A video of the incident, which took place near Garjiya Temple, went viral, where a Sub-Inspector is seen rescuing a man from the crowd. The man was attacked by members of a Hindu organisation as they saw him meeting a Hindu girl. Senior Superintendent of Police, Janmejay Khanduri said, "In the viral video our sub inspector is seen rescuing a man from the crowd. Some people within the crowd are seeing beating the man. Ramnagar Station House Officer (SHO) has registered a case. The police will start an investigation wherein the reason behind the incident will be known."
