Heat wave grips Lucknow

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), May 25 (ANI): The heat wave gripped the capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. People were seen using umbrellas and towels to cover themselves from the scorching heat. The change in weather has increased the demand of juice corners. However, in the view of coronavirus pandemic, there are not many customers coming out of their houses as earlier. “The heat waves have increased the demand of juice shops. However, not many people are coming out of their houses due to COVID-19 pandemic,” said the juice shop owner. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has also issued an orange warning of heatwave for east Uttar Pradesh. According to IMD, temperatures could soar up to 47 degrees Celsius in some parts over the next 2-3 days.
