HD Kumaraswamy stays at Govt School in Karnataka's Karegudda as part of 'village stay' programme

Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy stayed at a Government School in Karegudda as a part of his "village stay" programme. A huge pandal was erected for Janata Darshan. People not only from Karegudda, but also from nearby areas arrived in the village to interact with the chief minister and shared their grievances. 'Grama Vastavya' (overnight stay in villages) is aimed at taking administration to the people. 'Grama Vastavya' is a popular programme that Kumaraswamy had launched during his first stint as chief minister heading the BJP-JD(S) coalition government in 2006-07.
