Former Congress minister DK Aruna joins BJP in Delhi

Former Telangana Minister and Congress leader DK Aruna joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of ruling party's president, Amit Shah on Tuesday in Delhi. Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare JP Nadda, BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav and other leaders were also present while Aruna was inducted into the party. A former Congress MLA from Gadwal constituency in Telangana, Aruna has also served as the Minister for information and Public Relations in Telangana. Speaking to ANI, Former Minister and Telangana Congress party leader DK Aruna said, "The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) came to power second time due to several reasons. Today, there's no hope for Congress to come to power in Telangana again. I joined BJP as there's need for BJP to come to power there to fulfill people's aspirations."
