Bangladesh's Foreign Minister Dipu Moni, currently on a visit to India said that her government looks forward to resolving the pending issues of the Land Border Agreement (LBA) and sharing of waters of River Teesta, with the Indian government. Earlier, Dipu Moni had meetings with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley, on these issues. In this context, she said that both the Prime Minister and opposition party leader had reciprocated favourably. Dipu Moni also spoke about the turmoil back home where a spate of violent incidents have occurred following the conviction of the leaders of the Jamaat-e-Islami in connections to the war crimes trial. While responding to the growing demand of banning the Jamaat, the Foreign Minister stated that the government would wait till the trial is over and a conclusion can be reached at.
