Farmers committing suicide as they feel cheated by promise of loan waiver: BJP's Rajendra Rathore

Deputy Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Assembly and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Rajendra Rathore slammed state government over farmer suicide case in Sri Ganganagar, said government is responsible for farmer's suicide and this case falls under IPC 306 (Abetment of suicide). He said, "Farmers are committing suicide feeling cheated by promise of loan waiver. The farmer wrote that Chief Minister (Ashok Gehlot) and Deputy Chief Minister (Sachin Pilot) are responsible." A farmer committed suicide at Thakri village in Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar district on Sunday, leaving behind a farewell video and a two-page note accusing the Ashok Gehlot government of not honouring its pre-poll promise of waiving bank loans.
