Economy is reviving, more reforms likely soon: Chidambaram - PArt 2

Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram at a press conference on Thursday said that the steps that were taken by the government in the last nine months to revive the economy are yielding significant results and the government is looking forward to more reforms in the coming days. He also said that investors have faith in India's growth story and Government has delivered on Fiscal consolidation. The government plans to announce a review of the foreign direct investment limits as also coal pricing and allocation to power plants and gas pricing by the end of June. Referring to the rupee's depreciation, Chidambaram said that a number of steps have been taken to cure the currency's fall.
