While addressing a public gathering in Madhya Pradesh's Indore on January 23, the National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kailash Vijayvargiya said he got suspicious over workers working at his house because of their 'strange' eating habits. He said, "I suspected that there were some non-Indian among construction labourers who worked at my house recently. Their strange eating habits aroused suspicion about their nationality." "When a new room was being constructed at my house recently, I found eating habits of some of the workers strange as they were eating only 'poha' (flattened rice) in large quantity," Vijayvargiya added. "After talking to their supervisor and the building contractor I suspected that these workers were from Bangladesh. What is happening in our country? These outsiders are coming to India and spreading terror," BJP National General Secretary further stated.
