When almost the entire country is soaked in the spirit of Durga Puja, how can Bollywood stay behind? Bollywood actor, Kajol who also has a Bengali connection, visited The North Bombay Sarvajanik Puja (makeshift temple), one of the oldest pandals in Mumbai and participated in the festivities. Kajol arrived at the venue dressed in white, and interacted with the devotees, with an aim to keep the festive spirit alive. The organiser, Reema Lahiri, said this was the 65th year of the puja and told about wide array of activities planned for the visitors. Kajol was seen reminiscing about her childhood, as she met and greeted everyone present at the pandal. Durga Puja is one of India's most famous festivals. It is believed that Goddess Durga makes her annual visit to the world and the festivities are meant to welcome her.
