Scores of devotees recited Bhagavad Gita verses at Prasanna Ganpati Temple in Karnataka's Shivamogga for rain. It is a belief of the devotees that reciting Shlokas from Hindu holy book has the power to approach the rain God. The same belief is also shared by the old Priest Shivaswamy who performed puja as he believes that this will be a good way to solve the crisis.
