COVID-19 threat to animals: Indian zoo authorities taking precautionary measures

The pandemic coronavirus outbreak which is believed to driven by person-to-person transmission, has now become threat to animals also. The zoo across India, has been put on alert after a Tiger test positive for COVID-19 in United States of America (USA). In Gujarat's Ahmedabad Kankaria Zoo was disinfected by the administration on April 07. There are 2000 animals in the Zoo. On the other side, Pune's Zoo is also taking all precautionary measures for animals and staff amid COVID19 outbreak.
