Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has started working on the strategy beyond lockdown, which is in place nationwide to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The CM has constituted two Task Forces to ensure phased removal of the lockdown in the state and to bring the economy back on track affected by the lockdown. Chief Minister has constituted the first task force of 12 officers and experts headed by Additional Chief Secretary Home Rajeev Swaroop. The Task Force would suggest important measures to remove the lockdown in a phased manner. The second task force is constituted under the chairmanship of Arvind Mayaram, Economic Advisor to the Chief Minister and Vice Chairman of Rajasthan Transformation Council. In the meeting, CM Gehlot has instructed that any other officer, expert or person can be nominated as a member as per the requirement in both task forces. The first task force would make its suggestions at the earliest about the status of lockdown removal, which would be sent to the Government of India. Similarly, the second task force will formulate a strategy to improve the economy, on which the state and central governments can start working immediately on improving the condition of corona virus infection.
