COVID-19 lockdown: People flout social distancing norms at Bhubaneswar vegetable market

Despite repeated requests from authorities, vegetable market in Bhubaneswar was heavily crowded on April 3. Swarm of people thronged market without respecting social distancing norm, which is essential to break chain of COVID-19 spread. "People will come out to buy supplies, there should be awareness, but what will they do? They have to come out to buy necessities," said a local. Five positive cases of Novel Coronavirus have been reported in Odisha as of April 4.
