Coronavirus lockdown: Indian-origins Malaysians get special flight to return back their country

180 Malaysians reach Amritsar airport to board a special flight for Malaysia after being stranded the days. A Malaysian Citizen told that they were stranded Punjab due to suspension of international flights due to nationwide lockdown in the wake of pandemic coronavirus. "I thank Malaysian government and government of India for sending the flight to rescue us," said the Malaysian citizen. Most of the Malaysian citizens are Indian-origins, who came here to travel religious places. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of coronavirus positive cases in India rose to 1071 (including 942 active cases, 99 cured/discharged cases and 29 deaths).
