Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated plantation center at Mandadam village in Amaravati. The CM also planted beneficial neem saplings in the village. While addressing the gathering CM Naidu said that as many as 5.50 lakh plants will be grown in 9000 acres and trees will be grown alongside 330 km of roads as well. Showing concern for environment, Naidu asserted that steps will be taken to make all major cities and district headquarters green. The state government is trying to increase the green cover from 27% to 50%.
