Carcass of ‘man eater’ tiger found in Kerala’s Wayanad

Wayanad (Kerala), Aug 14 (ANI): A 12-year-old male tiger was found dead in Kerala’s Wayanad district on August 14. The body of ‘man eater’ tiger was found in Pulpally Velukolly forest area of Wayanad. Tiger had killed a tribal youth at Basavankolly on June 17. Reason of the death is not known yet. The big cat attacked two forest officials recently while they were trying to chase it away from a human habitation near Pulpally. A team of veterinarians led by senior veterinary surgeon of the forest department conducted an autopsy on the carcass.
