BJP urges UPA allies to withdraw support

The BJP today expressed happiness over the success of the nationwide protest against the hiked diesel prices and retail reforms and also appealed the UPA allies to withdraw their support from the government. Meanwhile, echoing similar sentiments, BJP General Secretary Ananth Kumar in Bangalore said that the UPA would disintegrate soon. BJP leader Rajnath Singh while talking to the reporters in Lucknow condemned the wrong policies of the government. Meanwhile, in Kolkata, CPI (M) leader, Mohammad Salim said that only Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, deputy planning chief Montek Singh Ahluwalia and finance minister, P Chidambaram were in favour of these so called reforms.
