BJP supporters create ruckus over party leader's murder in UP's Basti

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters created ruckus during a protest held in response to the murder of party leader Kabir Tiwari in Uttar Pradesh's Basti. The protestors damaged the public property to show their aggression. They also barged into a police station and damaged police vehicle. Tiwari was shot by bike-borne assailants on Oct 09. He was taken to the hospital and referred to Lucknow in a critical condition, but succumbed to his injuries. According to the police, two people have been apprehended in connection with the murder and they have also recovered the weapon used in the crime.
