Allies who skipped NDA meet pledged their support in writing: Rajnath Singh

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said a total of 36 allies attended the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meet organised by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah at the Ashoka Hotel in Delhi. Three of the remaining NDA allies did not participate in the get together on which the Home Minister said the absentee partners have pledged their support to the NDA in "writing". Shah had organised the get together of NDA parties in an apparent show of strength ahead of the vote count of May 23. The NDA partners honoured Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
