Ad-filmmaker Alyque Padamsee's last rites held in Mumbai

Friends and family of late ad-filmmaker Alyque Padamsee gathered to pay their respects at his last rites in Mumbai. Close friends of Padamsee from Bollywood too attended his last rites. Boman Irani and Raveena Tandon were amongst those who came to pay their homage. Alyque Padamsee died in Mumbai at the age of 90. Padamsee is best known for his role as Muhammad Ali Jinnah in 1982 film 'Gandhi'. He has been regarded as 'father of modern Indian advertising' and has been honoured with Padma Shri award in 2000. Many Bollywood celebs including Nimrat Kaur, Boman Irani, Arshad Warsi, Atul Kasbekar and Ashwin Mushran had extended their condolences on social media. President, Ram Nath Kovind as well Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to extend condolences.
