800 Specially abled persons attempt World Record for 'Largest Silent Yoga'

Ahmedabad administration organised World's Largest Silent Yoga on 4th International Yoga Day on Thursday. Around 800 specially abled people attempted to create Guinness World Record by performing yoga. The children have been receiving training since May from yoga experts at Sivananda Ashram. The participants were directed through headphones connected via bluetooth for demonstration and also followed the yoga instructor on stage. Participants were chosen from 10 city-based organisations like Blind People's Association (BPA), Apang Manav Mandal and Andh Kanya Prakash Gruh among others. Gujarat's Chief Minister Vijay Rupani visited the silent yoga class and cheered kids for the world record attempt.
