3 teams formed for apprehension of accused: Mangaluru Police Commissioner on suspicious IED bag at airport

After the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) found at Mangalore Airport was successfully disposed, Mangaluru Commissioner of Police, PS Harsha said that an FIR has been registered in the case. PS Harsha said, "An FIR has been registered under sections of Explosive Substance Act and Unlawful Activities Prevention Act. Three teams have been formed for identification and apprehension of the accused." An IED was discovered at ticket counter of Mangalore Airport on January 20. CISF cordoned off the area and bomb disposal squad took the bag in its custody. Mangaluru Police released photographs of suspect and the autorickshaw he was seen leaving in.
