VIDEO: Scindia's histrionics draw comparison with Modi

A video of the BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia speaking at a rally is doing the rounds on social media. The interesting bit is that in the video Scindia is seen and heard speaking in an exaggerated manner, not unalike that of the leader of the party he recently switched over to from the Congress.

"Listen, Mr Digvijay Singh and Kamal Nath, either you have the desire to serve or don't. It can be bought. Either it is in your heart or not," he thundered using elaborate hand gestures just the way PM Narendra Modi does during his speeches.

Scindia also thumped his chest repeatedly and significantly raised the pitch of his voice in a caricaturish manner.

The chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, was also on the dais and he seemed rather amused at the transformation of Scindia's style of delivery.

His histrionics also drew laughter and sardonic humour on social media as people found it funny that Modi's dramatic mannerisms had rubbed off on Scindia in just a few months of him defecting to the BJP from Congress.
