Vicky Kaushal And Taapsee Pannu Begin Shooting For Manmarziyan But Where Is Abhishek Bachchan?

The actors started with their two-month long Amritsar schedule today

Last month, Anurag Kashyap and Anand L Rai finally announced the star cast of their upcoming project titled Manmarziyan, which took quite a while to kickstart. After many speculations, the final star cast of the film was announced comprising Taapsee Pannu, Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal. Well, the film went on floors recently and since then the film’s lead stars, Taapsee and Vicky, are in Amritsar prepping for their upcoming film, sans Junior Bachchan. Today, Vicky shared a picture from the first day of the shoot.

In the picture, Anand L Rai, Anurag Kashyap, Taapsee and Vicky are seen seeking the blessings of Waahe Guru at the Golden Temple before beginning to shoot for the film. The actor captioned the pic, “”Humble beginnings… Day 1 #Manmarziyaan”. Previously, Taapsee shared an Instagram story announcing that the team will be shooting for Manmarziyan in Amritsar for the next 2 months. Helmed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Anand L Rai, the film is the second one after Mukkabaaz, that has the director and producer collaborate. Previously, the film was announced with Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar as leads. However, the starcast changed when Anurag was taken on board as the director. Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal were zeroed in on. And there was a strong buzz doing the rounds that the other male lead would be South heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan. However, Bachchan Jr was taken on board instead, which came as a great news for all his fans who have been waiting to see him on screen after a long time.  Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal’s Love Per Square Foot recently released on Netflix. Besides, he is gearing up for the release of his next film, Raazi, which will have him share screen space with Alia Bhatt. The film is based on Harinder Sikka’s best-selling novel Calling Sehmat. On the other hand, Taapsee Pannu will be seen in Dil Junglee, opposite Saqib Saleem, which is slated to release on March 9, 2018.
