Vasooligate probe: Enforcement Directorate asks Anil Deshmukh to submit documents

Earlier the PA to former Home Minister of Maharashtra Sanjay Palande was brought for questioning by the Enforcement directorate. The ED was conducting multiple raids including the residence of a money laundering case. After allegations of a Mumbai top cop Parambir Singh that said Anil Deshmukh had asked Sachin Waja to collect Rupees 100 crores from different bars, pubs, and restaurants in Mumbai during the COVID lockdown period. Now the update on the same is that the Enforcement Directorate has asked the former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh to appear with the documents asked. He had send two detailed letters to ED asking for a copy of the ECIR and a list of documents required by them so that he can match the documents and send them back to ED. Two summons have been already sent to him which he hasn't honored.
