Vasant Valley School Delhi ranked best in safety and hygiene
Vasant Valley School has ranked India's second best school and has scored the highest on the infrastructure provision and sports education front.
Standing tall and mighty in the league of India's top 1,000 schools is Delhi's Vasant Valley School, proving the institution's mettle for being the best co-ed destination.
Headed by Principal Rekha Krishnan, Vasant Valley School secured a score of 1,327 out of 1,500 in a survey conducted by Education World India school rankings for the ongoing academic year, the highest for any school in Delhi.
Adding a milestone to the school's success stories, Arun Kapoor, director, Vasant Valley School, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 11th EducationWorld India School Ranking 2017 Awards ceremony. "I want to dedicate this award to the children and faculty I have worked with. This is a recognition of our hard work of four decades," said Kapoor, highlighting the timely rigorous efforts put in by the students, teachers and school staff.
The school has secured the highest on parameters of academic reputation, community service, competence of faculty, individual attention to students, leadership and management quality, life skills education and conflict management, co curricular education, internationalism, parental involvement, teacher welfare and development and value for money.
The school has managed to deliver the best among top 1,000 schools on safety and hygiene. The school has also scored the highest on the infrastructure provision and sports education front. Vasant Valley School has ranked India's second best school and second best state school. A total of 12,367 parents, teachers, principals, educationists and senior students in 27 cities countrywide were interviewed over a period of four months by 127 field researchers of the well-reputed market research, and opinion polls company Centre for Forecasting and Research Pvt. Ltd (C fore), Delhi to rate and rank 1,000 of the country's most wellknown schools against 14 parameters of education excellence.
The school shares its position with The Vasant Valley in Bengaluru. "This year's survey is perhaps the largest ever worldwide. It will help parents countrywide to choose the most suitable school for their children and also help school managements to compare themselves with other schools in their categories against each other on a wide range of parameters," said Dilip Thakore, founder-editor of EducationWorld.
