Vaccine pricing row continues: Should the Centre make jabs free?

With an increasing number of covid cases and worsening situations in the country, India is now heading towards the next phase of vaccination that is the “vaccine for all”. Earlier, this month the central government had announced the prices of the vaccine that is Rs. 600 for the state government, and Rs 1200 for private hospitals. After which the central government is facing a lot of criticism not only by the people but also other political leaders as well as the experts. The experts believe that vaccination should be free for all. This decision of the centre has given rise to a lot of political debates on the basis that whether the vaccine should be free for all, or be at the same price at which the central government is procuring it.
