New Vaccination Policy: Prices capped; Covaxin at Rs. 1,410 & Covishield at Rs. 780

Centre has now decided the new vaccination policy and it has stated that they will procure the vaccine doses even for people above the age of 18 years. It is reported that from June 21st, the process is all set to start. The vaccines will be provided free of cost. 75 percent of the stock will be picked up by the centre, however, 25 percent of the stock can be picked up by the private hospitals across the country. The vaccine prices have now been capped. As far as Covaxin is concerned, a single dose cannot be over Rs. 1,410 per dose. Centre has order 44 crore doses for the new wave of the vaccination policy. The price policy will bring uniformity as vaccines were sold at different price in different places. The new price for Covishield is said to be Rs. 780 per dose. Watch the video to know more!
