Uttarakhand eases COVID-19 restrictions

Dehradun (Uttarakhand), July 19 (ANI): After witnessing a dip in COVID-19 cases, Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal on July 19 announced ease in the restrictions. “The mandatory RT-PCR antigen or rapid test for moving from plain to hilly districts in the state is not needed anymore. The people of the state can now move in the state without any restrictions,” said Uniyal. He added, “Now, shops will be open from 8 am to 9 pm. If passengers coming by air have got both the vaccine doses, then they will be allowed to come to the state. Water parks and multiplexes will open with 50% capacity”.
