Lucknow, January 10: In a shocking incident, a woman in Uttar Pradesh gave birth to a kid on the floor after failing to find a doctor. According to a tweet by ANI, the incident took place in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda after the woman and her family couldn't find a doctor in the community health centre. Reports quoted Dr Ratan Kumar, Upper Health Director, Devipatan division saying that strict action will be taken against the people who are responsible.

In June 2018, a 60-yr-old man from Haryana's Panipat was declared dead by doctors at Delhi's Ganga Ram hospital. The man was later found alive while being taken for last rites in an ambulance. According to reports, family members of the man blamed the doctors of negligence in performing their duty.

In October 2018, a nine-day-old baby died after being bitten by rats in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a government-run hospital in Bihar. The doctor of the hospital, however, rubbished the claims and said he had no such information but assured of co-operating in the investigation process.
