Uttar Pradesh: Two Coaches of Goods Train Derail on Delhi-Agra Route Near Mathura
Mathura, Oct 19: Two coaches of a goods train derailed on Delhi-Agra route near Mathura station in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. The derailment has affected the rail traffic on the Delhi-Agra route. Meanwhile, no loss of life has been reported as of yet.
In a similar incident on October 4, three coaches of a goods train derailed leaving the rail traffic on the Kansganj-Acchnera route affected. The railway administration had assured strict action against the guilty.
In the recent months, several train derailment incidents have been reported in Uttar Pradesh that led to huge loss of lives and injuries to people. At least 23 people were killed on August 19 when the Utkal Express derailed in Muzaffarnagar. Similarly on August 23, a passenger train had derailed near Mathura. Notably, there was no loss of life and property in this accident.
In Rajasthan, on October 17, the engine of a goods trains derailed due to which the Deshnok and Soorpora rail section was affected. The incident had resulted in diversion of passenger trains.
