Free vaccination: Kerala Assembly passes the resolution urging Centre's approval

The Kerala legislative assembly has unanimously passed the resolution urging the central government to provide vaccines free of cost within a specific period. The chief minister of Kerala introduced the resolution, and now it has been passed. Declaring that vaccine manufacturers were utilizing the situation in the wake of high demand, the Assembly demanded the Union government to request the compulsory licensing requirement to initiate public sector pharmaceutical companies. It asserted that free universal immunization would not go to waste as it will help life. It also emphasized that vaccination was the most effective way to achieve herd immunity. Get back to normal.
