Itanagar, Jul 17 (PTI) Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri has assured Arunachal Pradesh that necessary funds will be allocated by the Centre for the upcoming development projects in Itanagar, a senior official said on Saturday.

A team of Itanagar Municpal Corporation (IMC) officials, led by Mayor Tame Phassang, had on Friday met the Union minister for housing and urban affairs in Delhi and apprised him of the civic body's plans for the state capital and its adjacent areas, while also seeking funds for setting up a solid waste management plant, a proper drainage system, and multi-level car parking facilities.
