After Modi government announced that there will be no zero hour in the upcoming monsoon parliament, the opposition party has cried out its disapproval. This decision is deemed as stifling of democracy as it does not allow questioning hour. Many leaders from the opposition party have proclaimed Modi government as murders of democracy.
Shaktisingh Gohil along with other Congress members have asked the rational behind this decision claiming that the government is trying to avoid giving answers especially during these turbulent times. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi joined Times to defend governments decision to remove questioning hour in the parliament. He said that the opposition was informed beforehand and only Derek O'Brien had shown objection rest all agreed in the matter.
