Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan addresses the deteriorating situation of the country

In the last 24 hours, more than 2 lakh Covid cases have been registered in India. With the number of increasing cases, it is becoming difficult to handle the situation prevailing all over the country. Today, the union health minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan addresses the issue. Dr. Harsh Vardhan says “due to the increasing number of cases, the demand for beds is also increasing, hence it has been decided to add on 70 more beds in AIIMS and to reorganise the medical facilities for better treatment of patients”. Adding to that he also briefs that The National cancer institute in Jhajjar has 500 Covid beds and the provision is being made to increase 100 additional beds in the hospital. With this, he solaces the nation that the government has an experience of 1 Covid year and hence it is more prepared this time to fight this contagious disease. “It is important to wear a mask and take necessary precautions for the betterment of everyone,” says Dr. Harsh Vardhan.
